Riley was in action twice over the weekend, with stops at the Independence Motor Speedway in Independence, Iowa on Saturday and at the Benton County Speedway in Vinton, Iowa on Sunday.
Saturday at Inde, he stormed from 8th to 2nd in his qualifying heat race before starting the feature from the 12th spot. He was credited with a 20th place finish when the feature race ended.
Sunday night, he raced from 7th to 5th in his heat race and then backed that up with an 18th place finish in the night's feature race.
