Riley Wraps Up Vegas Weekend

Riley entered IMCA Modified action at the 24th annual Duel in the Desert at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. 126 Modifieds signed in on Tuesday night and Riley was able to win his heat from sixth, earning the pole for the night's feature event. In the main, he raced inside the top five all event long, crossing the finish line with a solid third place run.
Wednesday, he ran second in his heat race after starting third and then started and finished 9th in the night's feature, running inside the top ten all feature long.
Thursday, he ran tenth in his heat and was officially scored with a 26th place finish in the feature when the checkered flag flew.
After an off night on Friday, he raced from 5th up to 2nd in his heat race and ran fifth in the b-main, missing a transfer spot into the finale, ending his weekend a bit earlier than planned.
All in all, it was a great weekend in Sin City!
